our products team concluded that CH would try to show the scenic spots in a different way to attract more attention. As our office is located in Guilin, we decide to make Guilin the first stop to see how it works.
Last weekend, the products team and travel advisors speaking four different languages took a video recording trip. The trip lasted for two days and it covered a 5-hour hiking trip along the Li River, a Taichi lesson and a cooking lesson in Yangshuo.
The hiking trip was proved to be a success as we recorded a lot of wonderful sceneries along the way with explanations in different language, surely it was a bit tiring, but the views were really rewarding! I was attracted by the blossoming flowers (dont know the names!) on the way and took lots of pictures of them!
The Taichi lesson and cooking lesson were very interesting, men joined the group and played Taichi by following the master's instructions, girls were busy taking pictures and recording videos; while in the cooking class, ladies held the chopper to chop and the turner to fry, men helped take videos in the kitchen. We cooked under the chef's detailed instruction, and the dishes we cooked smelled and looked good, the most important thing was that they tasted very good too!
I cant wait to see the final work it will come out!

Two Days Hiking Trip Along The Hui-Hang Ancient Path
It has been one of my dreams to hike along the Hui-Hang Ancient Path after seeing so many wonderful pictures on the internet. Finally I did it on last weekend.
The Path is between Anhui and Zhejiang provinces, starting from Fuling town of Jixi county and ending at Maxiao village of Lin'an. It used to the most important path to link these two provinces in ancient times especially for businessmen around 1850. They delivered messages and goods everyday, thus a few very famous richmen were made at that time, Hu Xue Yan was the most famous of them.
Let's get to the point, I firstly took an overnight train K156 from Guilin to Jixi county, after 18 hrs 31', I arrived at the small railway station early in the morning at 5am. I took a taxi to the bus station to the rest of the group, and got on the bus then headed for the Fuling town. The starting point of the Ancient Path was highlighted on the walls so you would not miss it. Bypassing the black and white houses and the green fields, we started to climb the mountains with the a very clean stream on our right side.
The path got narrow and rugged after the first twenty minutes warm-up, most of us backpacked heavily and some girls had to stop from time to time to catch their breath.

building up an intimate relationship
We"talk" to our customers in a few way--by skype, email, phone or in person. Most of the time we use email as it is fast and it conveys a lot of information, and it is cheap too. Everytime when I type a message or an email, it seems to me that I am not working but chatting with a friend. I am helping my friend to arrange his/her China tour, it sounds very good as it is always a pleasure to greet a friend from afar!
While communicating with the customers, gradually I get more familiar with them, e.g. what they are interested in, what they like to do or dislike to do or eat, what is the weather like in their city and what is happenging in their life etc. It is not easy as it needs time to develop an intimate relationship, but it is definitely good to be a friend of the customers. When you open your heart to them, they would react the same way...
